The 2026 growing season has been an exciting one for Magical Sprouts Nursery. From expanding our native milkweed collection to introducing our first annual Native Perennial Spotlight, we’re grateful for everyone who has supported our mission to help butterflies, bees, and other pollinators thrive.

🌱 Looking Ahead to Spring 2027

Work for next spring is already underway.

We’re growing the next generation of our native milkweeds and working to expand our collection with several new species for Spring 2027. Purple Milkweed, Clasping Milkweed, Short Green Milkweed, and Redring Milkweed are all in the works. Because this is our first time propagating these species, availability will depend on successful germination and growing conditions.

Our annual Native Perennial Spotlight will also return in 2027 with a brand-new native species chosen for its beauty, ecological importance, and the remarkable story behind it. After months of research, we’ve already selected next year’s Spotlight Plant, but we’re keeping it a secret just a little longer.

We’ll reveal our 2027 Native Perennial Spotlight before our spring plant sales, and we can’t wait to share why this incredible native plant deserves a place in gardens across the Southeast.

Until then, thank you for supporting native plants, pollinators, and the conservation work that makes these species possible.
